Fiddes Premier HPX Floor
Polyurethane is a high performance, water based, 2 component cross linking 100%
Polyurethane floor finish. Ideal for the surface treatment of wooden floors in
commercial & domestic areas, that are subject to heavy wear.
Fiddes Premier HPX Floor Polyurethane has a high resistance to abrasion, and also offers excellent resistance to liquids in areas of medium to heavy traffic.

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any
previous finish. Fill any cracks/knots with Fiddes Floor Filler Gel where required.
Sand the substrate with a fine 120/150 grade sanding paper or 120/150 grit
sanding disk, removing all traces of dust.


Add 500ml HPX Hardener to 4.5lt and stir vigorously. This will result in 5lt of mixed product.
Ensure all areas to be coated are extremely well ventilated during and after application. Always test on a small area prior to initial application. Maximum 2 coats recommended. Apply at room temperature. Fiddes HPX Floor Lacquer is formulated for application directly, and does not require thinning.

First Coat

Stir contents thoroughly before and during use, and apply in a warm, well ventilated room. Apply THINLY using Fiddes Floor Oil Brush or a good quality bristle or synthetic brush, and lay EVENLY, following the direction of the grain. Leave to dry 2-3 hours in warm, dry well ventilated conditions.

Second Coat

Apply as first coat, THINLY, allowing good ventilation. Leave to dry 2-3 hours in warm, dry well ventilated conditions. Clean applicator with water


Two coats on hard wood substrate, 3 coats on open or more porous timber.

Cleaning & Maintenance

For regular light cleaning, a damp cloth should be applied and resulting clean area
left to dry. Periodically, an application of Fiddes Floor Surface Cleaner is recommended.


8-10 sqm per litre at 120-100g/m2 per coat


4.5lt + 500ml Hardener


Always test intercoat adhesion prior to major application.
Longer drying periods may occur in cold, damp or humid conditions.
Allow 24 Hours before use. Full curing in 7 days.
Store in frost free area.
Once mixed, HPX Lacquer cannot be rehardened.
